Spotlight on the Center for Sex and Culture

August 28th, 2005

I want to turn the spotlight on the Center for Sex and Culture, which is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization focused on, what else, sex and culture. The Center is run in part by Dr. Carol Queen, who has an EdD in sexology, and is internationally known as an arbiter of all things sex-positive. What’s great about what she’s created with the Center is that we now have a place where people can literally see it all. The Center has its own erotic art gallery; there’s a lot of room for classes and presentations on all matter of sexuality topics; there’s an archive of sex-related materials; and there’s a library, too. If you’ve never made a donation in your life, or even if you have, consider making one to the Center, because it’s worth it, to keep this kind of work alive.
