I’m a Film-Maker!

It’s official! I just made my directorial debut. I completed a short documentary called On My Skin / En Mi Piel, from my new film production copmany, Black and White All Over Films (a division of AltCinema Productions).

The theme of On My Skin / En Mi Piel is an exploration of the sexualities of mixed-race people. I focused on the story of my friend Logan, who recently visited Mexico, his ancestral homeland, to learn more about his heritage and, in the process, made discoveries about gender and sexuality as well.

I created the film during my film class this past semester, and finished it up on New Year’s Eve. My next step is to submit it for acceptance in film festivals, so wish me luck!
