Be Part of My Friend’s Thesis
March 21st, 2006Oye PAPI, My name is Alejandro Hurtado and I am graduate student working on my thesis at San Francisco State University. I am investigating the diversity of transgender female-to-male Latinos to learn more about distinctions and perspectives of machismo.
You may contribute by sitting down with me and talking about your life experience as a trans Latino man.
To participate, you must self-identify as Latino and at birth have been assigned as female, but no longer identify as female. And the running time of the interviews will be 90 minutes.
This study has received approval from the Office for the Protection of Human and Animal Subjects at San Francisco State University. However, the final decision about participation is yours.

Mi nombre es Alejandro Hurtado y soy un estudiante de posgrado en San Francisco State University empezando mi investigación. Mi tema de investigacion es la diversidad en la comunidad Latino transgenero femenino a masculino. Esta investigación llevará optimistamente a una mejor comprensión de lo que significa para vivir como un Latino y la relación específica al machismo.
Uno puede ayudar empezando con una charla acerca de tus experencias de la vida como un hombre latino.
Para participar uno debe que identificar como Latino y se ha asignado al nacer como femenino, pero no más largo identifica como femenino. Y el tiempo total de esta entrevista será 90 minutos.
Querría asegurarle que este estudio ha recibido la aprobación de la Oficina para la Protección de Sujetos de Humano y Animal en San Francisco State University. Sin embargo, la decisión final acerca de la participación es suya.
