3. CALL FOR ACTORS
title: “Through the Eyes of Twilight: Para La Lucha”
synopsis: Having lived through the repression of El Salvador, during the late 70’s and early 80’s, the spirit of a murdered Liberation Theologist comes back to tell her story of struggle and to warn against the political future of the US.
writer: Tina D’Elia
director: Vivian Giourousis
contact: mail@hoardmag.com
production location: San Francisco, CA
shooting dates: May and/or June, 2006
pay: No pay for beginning or non-actors, but negotiable compensation offered to actors with extensive professional experience.
With respect to the setting and location of the story, we prefer to cast Salvadorian actors, but will also consider a spectrum of Latina/Latino talent. Exceptional voice skills are a big plus for training in acquiring an authentic El Salvadorian accent. This is a short film, and the time commitment is about 2 to 3 shooting days, with a possible additional day for rehearsal.
