Todo Bi

August 24th, 2006

Check out this message I got about a new radio program, called Todo Bi:

“A bilingual, bicultural, bisexual radio show aired in the San Francisco Bay Area Radio Station 1010 AM: Saturday and Sundays from 3pm to 4pm.

TODO BI is strongly dedicated to the empowerment of the Latino LGBT Community in the Bay Area. Topics of discussion include; safer sex, coming out stories, tales from our community, nightlife, fashion, travel, music, entrainment, politics, love, and much more.

TODO BI aims to create a safe and positive space for the Latino LGBT community to freely express themselves, in the air, regardless of sexual preferences and or lifestyles while increasing tolerance among non-gay listeners.

TODO BI caters to Latinos from different socioeconomic background including non-gay and LGBT communities. In addition to providing great entertainment, the show will educate non-gay audiences about Latino LGBT communities aiming to reduce homophobia and increase tolerance. The show will schedule interviews with personalities and community leaders to share their success, coming out stories, experiences dealing with prejudice, homophobia, and other issues that mainly affect the Latino LGBT communities in the Bay Area.

The Host: Directly from Guadalajara Jalisco, stopping along the way in Phoenix, AZ, and Los Angeles, CA, we have VICTORIA RUIZ, a transgender woman, dynamic revolutionary, sexy, hardworking, and with a lot of passion on her cause. VICTORIA RUIZ is the main host TODO BI. Her enormous talent and experience complement all together the concept of the Show. A brief summary of work experience: Televisa Guadalajara, Antro’s Gay Phoenix, AZ, Patricia’s Sturla Studio- Los Angeles, MTV-New York

The Co-Host: Josue-Daniel Cordoba, a talented Salvadorian, raised in the Bay Area, with great charisma, a strong sense of humor, and a familiar voice from 1010AM. A brief summary of work experience: Academy of Arts University-motion pictures major, creative writing, acting, and Conservatory of Music, San Salvador.

The Team: A group of talented and dynamic personalities that will be on the road bringing the show to the hot spots where the fun and action is. Always providing us, with a lot of information of what is going on with our LGBT community as well as non-gay communities.

TODO BI would do the best on the air and in front of microphones to educate others while making the best hours of your weekends. We can assure you we will all have a great success.

We deeply thank you for your contribution to this great project, and you,
Me, and all of us all together will do…RADIO OUR WAY.”

I’m going to try to listen in! Join me, won’t you?
