Bi Visibility Project at Creating Change Conference

January 13th, 2008

If you’re going to the Creating Change conference this year, be sure to attend the Bi Visibility Project workshop! It’s being led by Kim Westrick, a fabulous student/ activist from University of California, Davis. She is going to knock your socks off with information about the Project, which she started at her school. Very inspirational stuff. Check out this info Kim sent me about the workshop:

“We created The Bi Visibility Project at the University of California, Davis, to shed light on the nuances and politics of bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, pomosexual or otherwise unlabeled sexual identities and how they intersect with our other identities. In doing so, we hope to diminish stereotypes and make the B in LGBT more visible. We want to share our project and show that it’s feasible to bring one like it to Universities, communities or already established organizations. We can address the “B” and strengthen our movement!”
