July 13th, 2008Same-sex marriage: Being a bisexual person in a same-sex relationship, Iām so proud to call many of these folks my friends! http://www.ebar.com/news/article.php?sec=news&article=3137
Trans employment: Thanks to my friend Suzie for sending the below info my way.
“The Transgender Law Center is conducting a survey to better understand the needs and interests of transgender adults throughout California. Survey data will be analyzed and reported in a new publication ā Good Jobs Now California! ā to educate policymakers about the needs and realities of transgender people.
By reporting good data about our own community, we plan to encourage agencies throughout California to launch and expand employment services for the transgender community. In order to get the best data possible, it is important that we reach a large population of trans-identified Californians from all ethnic groups, incomes, gender identities, and locations. The only restriction on the survey is that it can only be taken by trans-identified Californians over the age of 18.
Please share this survey with other transgender people you know.
The survey is available online in English
